Welcome to Soroptimist International Chelmsford & District Club<\/h2>\n

Soroptimist International is the world\u2019s largest women\u2019s service organisation with Consultative Status at the United Nations.\u00a0 A group of like-minded women, we are united by our passion for improving the lives of women and children locally, nationally and internationally. The Chelmsford club was founded in 1951 and has given years of service to our community.\u00a0 Use the side navigation to find out more about your local club. OUR CLUB<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are a very friendly group of women who meet on the third Thursday of the month\u00a0 at 7.30pm (usually) in the Church Hall,<\/a> St Mary and St Leonard Church, Chelmsford CM1 7BD; please contact us for more details.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you would like to learn more about our organisation, come along; you would be assured of a very warm welcome.<\/p>\n

WHAT THE CHELMSFORD AND DISTRICT CLUB DOES<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are involved:<\/p>\n

Locally<\/strong> – we lobby and undertake projects that benefit women and girls with organisations such as Chelmsford Women’s Aid<\/a> (Safer Places).<\/p>\n

Regionally<\/strong> – with nine other clubs in the London Anglia Region<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nationally<\/strong> and Internationally<\/strong> fundraising and campaigning.<\/p>\n
