Region Plastic Re-cycling Project<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>Several years ago in response to David Attenborough\u2019s concern about plastic in our oceans, the Region Programme Action Officers Sian and Esther \u00a0introduced \u00a0Poly de la Mere, this was to encourage members to collect plastic bottle tops.<\/p>\n

Over the 2-3 years region members collected 1000’s of these plastic tops.<\/p>\n

These were delivered to a local business Plastecowood<\/span><\/a>, a North Wales firm based in Bodelwyddan<\/p>\n

And were recycled into this fabulous bench.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Region Centenary Bench<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>On October 8th 2021, on a beautiful warm day in Happy Valley, Llandudno, the Region Centenary \u00a0Celebration was held and the Region Bench was installed<\/p>\n

With special thanks to Kelly Bowsher for donating and engraving the memorial plaque<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
