{"id":4875,"date":"2019-01-21T12:40:28","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T11:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cheshire\/?p=4875"},"modified":"2019-05-08T10:27:36","modified_gmt":"2019-05-08T09:27:36","slug":"region-meeting-16th-february-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cheshire\/2019\/01\/21\/region-meeting-16th-february-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Region Meeting 16th February 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"\/cheshire\/files\/2018\/08\/meeting-notes-icon-clipart-panda-free-clipart-images-eBCYcd-clipart.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a>The Region Meeting was held on 16th February at The Imperial Hotel, The Promenade, Vaughan Street, Llandudno, LL30 1AP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/cheshire\/files\/2019\/02\/DzjCYA6WsAElLAK.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4960\" src=\"\/cheshire\/files\/2019\/02\/DzjCYA6WsAElLAK-300x270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cheshire\/files\/2019\/02\/DzjCYA6WsAElLAK-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cheshire\/files\/2019\/02\/DzjCYA6WsAElLAK-768x691.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cheshire\/files\/2019\/02\/DzjCYA6WsAElLAK.jpg 887w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The meeting began at 10am with Coffee, where we held a <strong>Tombola<\/strong> in support of <strong>OAKS Charity and raised \u00a3117<\/strong>, thanks to all who helped and those who supported.<\/p>\n<p>The Region Council Meeting began at 10.30 where we looked at\u00a0<strong>President Pam&#8217;s Theme for the Year <\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000080\">STEAM &#8211; Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Guest Speaker at 11.15am\u00a0<\/strong><b>Was<\/b>\u00a0<strong>Mrs Laurel Parkinson Director of Education for OAKS (Overseas Aid for Kids in Sierra Leone) which is President Pam&#8217;s chosen charity for the year.
