Do you want to create a better world for women and girls? Yes? Then joining your nearest Soroptimist club could be for you!<\/p>\n

Members of Chester Soroptimists are \u201cWomen inspiring action, transforming lives\u201d. We educate, empower and enable half a million women and girls around the world.<\/p>\n

80,000 Soroptimists Worldwide<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are nearly 80,000 Soroptimists worldwide, the majority of whom belong to their local Club, where they can make friends with like-minded women, have fun and work on projects that help improve the lives of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n

Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) also offers Associate Membership, for busy women who believe in what we do but do not have the time to get involved in Club activities.<\/p>\n

Soroptimist International (SI) and SIGBI both have consultative status at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations (UN), which gives us a voice on important discussion papers.<\/p>\n

We usually meet at 7.30pm on the second Monday of each month at Mollington Banastre, CH1 6NN to plan, develop and review current projects.<\/p>\n
