Programme Action: We call our voluntary work “Programme Action”. Programme Action is the reason for being a Soroptimist. It reflects the Vision and the Mission of Soroptimist International. Soroptimists undertake project work at Club<\/a>, Region<\/a>, Federation<\/a> and International level.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Every Soroptimist member belongs to a Club, through which they can take part in organised Programme Activities, including practical help for local causes, lobbying governments for change and increase their awareness of International issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Every Soroptimist Club devises, plans and carries out project work \u2013 known as\u00a0Programme Action<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 based on the\u00a0United Nations\u2019 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong><\/a>. SIGBI is a registered charity (Charity Number: 1179433) and has\u00a0Special Consultative Status<\/strong>\u00a0at the United Nations.<\/p>\n
