Soroptimist International - Crosby

Soroptimist International of Crosby is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations.

Welcome to SI Crosby

Soroptimist International, Crosby, is part of a worldwide organisation of women.

Through service projects we aim to advance human rights and the status of women – at local, national and international level.

What do we do? Have a look at our projects. Catch up on our latest news. Check the club diary to see what’s coming up – and even take a look at this year’s president!

Our club meets monthly, on the second Wednesday of each month, at West Lancashire Golf Club in Blundellsands. Most members take the opportunity of having a meal together there beforehand – a chance to unwind and catch up on friends. The meetings cover club progress and activities; we often welcome a speaker, too.

Friendship and fun are central to our service and to our club.

Currently we have over forty members – not only from Crosby, but also from Formby, Maghull, Waterloo and surrounding areas. Our club was chartered in 1938 and we’ve been active in the community ever since. We are proud of our long history – read more here.

So browse through our website. If you like what you see, and would like to know more, just get in touch.

We’ll welcome your enquiry in the customary Soroptimist way – in friendship.
