The highlight of the night was an unexpected \u2018guest\u2019 appearance.<\/p>\n<p>President Chris Chua-Short set the scene with videos of Scottish music and song \u2013 and the haggis was duly piped in. After the Selkirk Grace, Elspeth Cooper addressed the haggis. The customary toast was Maggie Tatam\u2019s cue to plunge in her knife. Then it was supper-time for all.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=&#8221;white&#8221; border_width=&#8221;4&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1611763832530-b563876b-399b-6&#8243; include=&#8221;5053,5054,5049&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Elspeth\u2019s quiz caused much muttering and puzzlement. This gave way to astonishment as surprise \u2018guest\u2019 Nicola suddenly appeared in Elspeth\u2019s place.
