{"id":5273,"date":"2021-04-16T12:15:22","date_gmt":"2021-04-16T11:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/crosby\/?p=5273"},"modified":"2021-04-16T12:15:22","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T11:15:22","slug":"running-one-step-ahead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/crosby\/2021\/04\/16\/running-one-step-ahead\/","title":{"rendered":"Running One Step Ahead"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h5>At SI Crosby\u2019s AGM, President Chris Chua-Short looked back on her momentous year leading her Soroptimist club.<\/h5>\n<p>\u201cI was running one step ahead\u201d, she said, referring to the early days of Zoom meetings. \u201cIt was a steep learning curve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>President Chris was overwhelmed by the efforts club members made to develop new ways of organising successful service projects, of fundraising and of looking after each other. Challenges were faced in a spirit of unity.<\/p>\n<p>All the usual events that Soroptimist presidents attend were, of course, cancelled.
