Comfort teddies which are being knit by members, their families and friends are given out to local emergency services. They will be kept in vehicles and given out to small children in volved in traumatic or upsetting circumstances It is hoped it will bring them comfort when they most need it. We are also happy to give them to schools and counselling services. We have already given out 30 to Gwent Police, 12 to SARC,(sexual assault Centre) 2 to Our Lady of the Angels for their Prayer and Reflection Room and 2 to Goytre school for their Cwtch Wellbeing room and 30 to the Fire Service.
Joan with a teddy which she hopes to present to the Duchess of Sussex when she meets with her and the Duke in connection with another organisation with which she is involved.
