We have a winner!<\/p>\n

Huge congratulations to Sandsiwe O Khupe from St Aidan’s Community School representing SI Dublin who has been crowned the winner of the 44th Soroptimist Girls\u2019 Public Speaking Competition!<\/p>\n

At today\u2019s national final in Breaffy House Resort, Castlebar, Sandsiwe impressed the judges with her powerful speech on \u201cPartnership and the Empowerment of Women\u201d and her impromptu speech on the theme of \u201cSunshine.\u201d<\/p>\n

She now joins 43 inspiring young women who have taken home this prestigious title since the competition began.<\/p>\n

National President Anne O\u2019Sullivan said:
\n\u201cThe passion, intelligence, and confidence shown by these young women is truly extraordinary. It gives me such hope for the future. I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Sandsiwe on her outstanding achievement. She is a worthy winner and a powerful voice for her generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thank you to all our finalists for an unforgettable day full of courage, conviction and sunshine\u2014inside and out!<\/p>\n

A big thank you to all the judges, Castlebar for hosting the final and for everybody who helped organising the competition throughout the country, it is amazing to see. Finally, a personal thank you to Margaret Murray from SI Dublin for her work and support .<\/p>\n
