On Tuesday 18th of December members of SI Dundee enjoyed an excellent festive evening at the Invercarse Hotel.
As we knew we would enjoy a full Christmas meal and fellowship with each other we wanted to help those in need in our local community. This we did, very successfully, in two ways:
Firstly members brought food for the Dundee Food Bank. This photograph is only a sample of the donated produce; most members left tins and other heavy packets in the car park for collection later.
Secondly a raffle was held which raised £60. This money was donated to a local branch of the St Vincent de Paul; further help for families in need at Christmas.
Our evening ended with wonderful entertainment from Caraidean Singers. A local quartet singing: folk, Gaelic, traditional carols and fun songs. Elaine, one of our members, is a performer with the group.

A terrific evening with lots of fun and laughter.
