Kristina Johansen, marketing manager at Dundee Contemporary Arts was a recent guest speaker. She gave the club a very interesting presentation on the variety of work at the DCA.
Kristina’s enthusiasm was evident as she spoke of up and coming art exhibitions and the opportunities for artistic development in the Printing Rooms at the centre.
Kristina explained that the DCA cinema offers less well known titles as well as some of the popular releases.Many of our members particularly enjoyed the streaming of opera and ballet from the Met and National Theatre.
The successful Discovery Film Festival for young people will celebrate its tenth anniversary this autumn.It is well attended by local school children.
