On June 16th members enjoyed a very interesting summer outing to the Falkirk Wheel.

There was the opportunity to ride up in the gondola to the Edinburgh canal turning around after 100 yards for the return journey. The views were terrific.
After refreshments the group proceeded with the help of ‘sat nav’ and human navigators to visit the Kelpies. Arriving on site around 5pm was just right as the sun was shining and the crowds diminishing. All agreed that the Kelpies were magnificent.
The afternoon ended with a meal together in Dundee where the group joined other members of the club.
An excellent summer outing.
