DUNDEE DRAGONS

At a recent meeting of Dundee Soroptimists members heard of the work of Dundee Dragons.
Final year Dundee medical student and founder of Dundee Dragons- Elizabeth Ferris spoke of her determination to establish a facility for wheelchair users to engage in sport. Elizabeth gave a moving presentation as she described her work over the last few years in starting the charity. Children and adult wheelchair uses in the city now have the opportunity to take part in, rugby, basketball, tennis and curling.
Elizabeth’s presentation was finished by a short film in which those with disabilities spoke of how the opportunity to attend the club had transformed their lives.
