Presentation by Christine Sime on “Jane Haining”
Jane Haining was a Church of Scotland missionary working in Budapest, where she was arrested by the Nazis in 1944; dying at Auschwitz concentration camp later that year. She is the only Scot to be officially honoured for giving her life to help Jews in the Holocaust.
