We collect lots of different things to recycle.<\/h2>\n

Smalls for All<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0https:\/\/www.smallsforall.org<\/a><\/h2>\n

We collect new and gently used bras and new pants for Smalls for All.\u00a0 This is a small Scottish based charity which donates bras and pants to those in need the UK and countries in Africa.<\/p>\n

Education<\/h3>\n

Having pants allows girls to go to school during their period and so not miss out on their education.<\/p>\n

Dignity and comfort<\/h3>\n

Giving a bra to a woman or girl gives them dignity and comfort.<\/p>\n

Initially the charity only supplied organisations in Africa but is now responding to increasing requests from the UK.\u00a0 School uniform banks, local charities\u00a0 and women’s refuges are being supported.<\/p>\n

We will take donations any time as our members volunteer at Smalls for All every week opening parcels.<\/p>\n

Used Glasses<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Spectacles are collected and\u00a0 donated through Specsavers to be recycled.<\/p>\n

Recently\u00a0 we collected over 130 pairs of glasses.<\/p>\n

Toiletries for SOHTIS\u00a0 https:\/\/sohtis.org<\/a><\/h3>\n

We support the work of the charity Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland.\u00a0 \u00a0 We have donated make bags with a variety of make up and toiletries which are given to those who need them.<\/p>\n

Donations for the local foodbank<\/h3>\n

https:\/\/dunfermline.foodbank.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n

We collect once a month at our meetings. During 2022 Dunfermline Foodbank issued 101.205kg of food. They fed 7,178 clients of which 2858 were children<\/p>\n
