Award.\u00a0 As our Centenary year ( 1921-2021)\u00a0 continues,\u00a0 we are very fortunate to have Sarbjit as a member of our Club.\u00a0 Sally Curtis presented\u00a0 Sarbjit with her certificate face-to- face\u00a0 with several members of our Club and others joining in on Zoom. Sarbjit&#8217;s work with the charity True Honour\u00a0 focuses on supporting women who are survivors of\u00a0 domestic abuse, forced marriage and FGM.\u00a0 Her\u00a0 work has been exemplary and her own personal journey as the sister &#8211; in &#8211; law of\u00a0 Surjit Athwal, who was the subject of an honour killing, has been documented in the book Shamed.
