A call went out from West Middlesex Hospital for donations to pregnant Afghan women refugees arriving at Heathrow.\u00a0 These women have arrived with very little and many have had to be admitted into hospital. It is unknown how long they will be staying at the hospital and when they are likely to be moved\u00a0 within the UK. Some items from Soroptimist International Epsom & District were delivered to a drop off point in Surbiton.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although donations have now closed,\u00a0 if you have any of the following items,<\/strong>\u00a0 you can contact\u00a0Care4Calais <\/strong>https:\/\/care4calais.org\/<\/a> \u00a0who have a number of donation drop off points\u00a0 around the country for Afghanistan Refugees.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– dark plain leggings – variety of sizes<\/span><\/div>\n
– oversized T-shirt\/night shirts<\/span><\/div>\n
– sanitary towels<\/span><\/div>\n
– new black or white underwear – variety of sizes<\/span><\/div>\n
– basic toiletries – toothbrush\/toothpaste\/shampoo\/shower gel\/deodorant<\/span><\/div>\n
– newborn to 3 month baby grows<\/span><\/div>\n
– baby hats<\/span><\/div>\n
– newborn nappies<\/span><\/div>\n
– baby wipes<\/span><\/div>\n
– baby blankets<\/span><\/div>\n
