Programme Areas<\/span><\/h3>\n

We choose projects to work on that tackle one of the six programme areas identified by <\/strong><\/span>Soroptimist International:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Advocacy<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Economic Empowerment<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Education<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Environmental Sustainability<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Food Security and Healthcare<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Violence and Conflict Resolution<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    We are an international women\u2019s movement and together, our members are a global voice for <\/strong><\/span>women. Our achievements have a huge impact on the lives of women and girls. We are an <\/strong><\/span>organisation with special consultative status at the United Nations (UN)through the UN <\/strong>Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). As such, we also support and celebrate many <\/strong><\/span>designated UN Days and the UN’s 5P’s.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
