{"id":4770,"date":"2023-10-01T10:23:46","date_gmt":"2023-10-01T10:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/glasgow-city\/?p=4770"},"modified":"2023-10-01T10:23:46","modified_gmt":"2023-10-01T10:23:46","slug":"a-focus-on-mindfulness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/glasgow-city\/2023\/10\/01\/a-focus-on-mindfulness\/","title":{"rendered":"A focus on mindfulness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The speaker at the SI Glasgow City club on Wednesday 20<sup>th<\/sup> September was Eleanor Gibson, who shared some of her journey towards mindfulness, having published her book entitled \u2018<em>Mindfulness The Journey, Not The Destination\u2019<\/em> a year ago. As well as some of her personal story, her book contains some of her beautiful poetry which gives an insight into her feelings at particular times in her life \u2013 happy, sad, traumatic, and positive events, and she shared some of these in her talk.
