On 19th October we are having an exciting event at Cartmel Village Hall called Hair Razor which is a celebration of hairdressing presented by our member Jeanette who has a wealth of experience and will be demonstrating different styles and techniques. Sit back in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of prosecco and look back at styles from the past and current techniques, presented in a fun way.
PLEASE NOTE:
DIVERSION WARNING. There is a diversion in place in Cartmel with the road closed at the bridge at the Kings Arms ( there is pedestrian access) . It is sort of signed but not very clear. So if you are heading to the VH make sure you go down Priest Lane and wend your way past the Priory on your left and round the corner by L’Enclume and the Cavendish on your left and then go under the gatehouse arch turning right then immediately head to the left of the Village shop and down to the VH. . Do not try to access via the Causeway (the road between the Pig and Whistle and Premier) or the road into the village from Headless Cross.
VENTILATION– there will be a considerable number of people in the hall and due to rising Covid rates masks will be offered ( not compulsory) and there will be at least 2 windows slightly open in the Main hall and one in the SR to ensure air flow so wear adequate clothing!
