Members  joined the volunteers and staff from  Barrow Women’s Centre ( Women’s Conmmunity Matters) to collect at Cartmel Races. It was a really suvccessful day with over £800 raised from racegoers and it was special as the 2.45 race was the Womens Community Matters Maiden Hurdle.

The money collected will be used to further the work of Barrow Women’s Centre which provides invaluable help to local women suffering domestic abuse, poverty and other issues.
