On June 12th members of the walking group plus partners enjoyed a lovely walk up Brunt Knott from Staveley. The views from the top were extensive  from Morecambe Bay to the Langdale Pikes and Kentmere fells. There were beautiful meadows of wild flowers, so it was a great way to enjoy the countryside and each others company.  We were blessed with lovely weather particularly in the afternoon and  enjoyed  tea outside  at Wilf’s cafe afterwards.
