For 6 days starting on Monday 27th April Club member Janice played 26 tunes on her flute in aid of\u00a0 the Soroptimist project Empowering Girls in Nepal<\/em> <\/a>as her Challenge 26.1. \u00a0 The project\u00a0 supports rape survivors, trafficked and vulnerable girls as they rebuild their lives. Having not played a great deal recently Janice built up\u00a0 playing more tunes each day playing 26 on the final day but clocking up over 102 tunes on the way. On\u00a0 Saturday 2nd May neighbours and passers by enjoyed a al fresco concert in glorious sunshine. As well as giving joy to many people Janice raised the amazing amount of\u00a0 \u00a3760\u00a0 in sponsorship. To see the video see 4th May post on\u00a0 Janice’s Facebook page<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n
