{"id":4791,"date":"2020-06-12T17:31:59","date_gmt":"2020-06-12T16:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/grange-over-sands\/?p=4791"},"modified":"2020-10-23T15:12:24","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T14:12:24","slug":"singing-for-memory-group-meet-on-zoom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/grange-over-sands\/2020\/06\/12\/singing-for-memory-group-meet-on-zoom\/","title":{"rendered":"Singing for Memory group meet on Zoom!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The <a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/grange-over-sands\/singing-for-the-brain\/\">Singing for Memory<\/a> group met on Zoom for the first time since lockdown and really enjoyed seeing each other again.\u00a0\u00a0 We had a great time singing favourite songs and also sang \u201cSomewhere over the Rainbow\u201c in honour of front line carers.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone living with dementia , either sufferers or carers have found \u00a0Covid \u2013 19 has made life more difficult and isolating, so it was helpful to get together again.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alzheimer-europe.org\/Policy\/Our-opinion-on\/Wellbeing-of-people-with-dementia-during-COVID-19-pandemic\">Alzheimer\u2019s Europe<\/a> have urged organisations to support people living with dementia by phone calls and modern technology to reduce isolation and improve well being.
