Welcome to SI Great Yarmouth<\/h2>\n

Welcome to Soroptimist International of Great Yarmouth, part of a leading international women’s organisation. Through a combination of service, friendship and fun we undertake local, national, and international projects to benefit women and girls.<\/p>\n

Locally members have helped with a range of\u00a0 projects and fundraising events, including providing essential items at a local women’s refuge,\u00a0 a swimathon which raised funds for local children’s charities, developing and launching our Leadership Award. International aid has been distributed through table top sales and raffles to raise funds for our international charities, together with great social events which are always enjoyed by all.<\/p>\n

We meet at 7.30pm on the first and third Monday of the month at Christchurch King Street, Great Yarmouth. The first meeting covers a mixture of club business and\u00a0 project related activities. Our second meeting is usually an opportunity for us to hear from a local speaker, invited because of their interest in women’s issues or as a result of their links with a charity or project that we wish to support.<\/p>\n

We are an active club with a mix of \u00a0approx 26 members from range of\u00a0 professions and organisations. \u00a0If you live or work in the Great Yarmouth area, get in touch!
