{"id":4616,"date":"2023-01-18T12:15:31","date_gmt":"2023-01-18T11:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/haverfordwest\/?p=4616"},"modified":"2025-04-17T09:17:37","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T08:17:37","slug":"you-shall-go-to-the-ball","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/haverfordwest\/2023\/01\/18\/you-shall-go-to-the-ball\/","title":{"rendered":"You shall go to the Ball!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following a donation of beautiful dresses from Pembrokeshire Care, Share and Give, and with other private donations and\u00a0 additions using club funds, we wanted to enable every girl to &#8216;Go to the Ball&#8217;.\u00a0 In partnership with Haverfordwest High School, a pop-up shop in 2022 allowed us to offer dresses on loan, free of charge, to all students to attend their school prom. For some students, this alleviated the financial pressure on family resources, while other students embraced the sustainability and ecological ideal of wearing a pre-loved dress.
