We attended 3 different events for this important day in our calendar – Women of the World ‘WOW’ at The Junction in Cambridge, The UCS/Suffolk Feminists Society event at the Campus and Suffolk Refugee Support’s celebrations. All different but essentially coming across with the same message – whilst there have been improvements and far more opportunities are available culturally many men, possibly unconsciously, do not get it that women have the right to be seen AND heard, participating on an equal level. See our post on the events under Club News.
