OUTCOME OF QUIZ NIGHT IN AID OF LIGHTHOUSE WOMEN’S AID IN APRIL 2013
A good time was had by all who participated in the Quiz Night in April. We had ten teams competing with team names including: ‘Blank Faces’; ’14 to 84’; ‘Not Just a Pretty Face’ and ‘Cornflakes’. How do teams select their names?
There was lot of discussion, head scratching, licking of pencils and definitely a volley of ‘oh no’ when Mark Murphy read out the answers. Mark, who you know from BBC Radio Suffolk, was our Quiz Master, as he is Patron of Lighthouse.
We raised in the region of £400 and our thanks go to everyone who helped and took part.
The winning team took home the wine and the last team took home the ever popular decorated Soroptimist wooden spoons (see photo). Did they do it deliberately?
There will be another Quiz Night, so watch out for information.
