We might be in lockdown but we’re certainly not shut down!<\/h2>\n

Most importantly during lockdown, we’re keeping in touch to make that difference to our own members.\u00a0 With SIGBI President Isobel’s message firmly in mind\u00a0 ‘This is a time to when friendship and caring come into their own’.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Creating cards for special people, shopping for those in isolation, phone calls, chatting from a safe distance.\u00a0 \u00a0WhatsApping – is that even a verb?!\u00a0 \u00a0Zooming has taken on a whole new meaning!\u00a0 \u00a0Because Covid 19 might mean that we can’t meet as we usually do we can still stay social.<\/p>\n

Some of us are cooking for Molly’s Meals<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0This has been set up by a young lady called Molly in Kenilworth.\u00a0 She’s been helping people self isolating as a result of the pandemic before any community systems were started. \u00a0 Definitely a potential Soroptimist in the making!<\/span><\/p>\n
