Diary of the Month – April 2022

Phrase of the month—We have a voice at the United Nations to improve the status of women of all ages and nationality.

7th—-Business meeting and AGM where our new presidents for the next year take over their roles. We have three members sharing the role every four months during the next twelve months.

10th—A very pleasant afternoon in the care of Stratford -upon -Avon club was held at this Regional Meeting. All presidents reported on the last year activities by their individual clubs with changes of Insignia and a gorgeous afternoon tea given to all.

13th– Again our Sewing Sisters were back in action producing these lovely toilet bags for The Buddy Bag Foundation to use in their back packs for women and children entering a Refuge. A rewarding day for everyone.

21st—At our monthly supper meeting we were privileged to have staff from our local refuge come as our guests to talk about their roles in their organisation.

25th– Our day of action each month to raise awareness of Violence against women. See our Facebook page.







27th– Today we held our long awaited Bridge Event which is of course is two years overdue because of covid. As these photos show the hall was packed and four hundred pounds was raised for  our local Homestart Charity and two hundred pounds for Ukraine
