5th march— Celebrating International Women’s Day this month in Bewdley and raising awareness of Violence Against Women.\u00a0 Even the local canine showed an interest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

11th<\/sup> march\u2014Public Speaking Competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations to our member Cindy Black who supported these lads from a local school in taking part in our Region’s Public Speaking competition.\u00a0 Although they did not win, their talks at the event were really inspirational.\u00a0 Their teacher, seen on the left, was a great support to them and to our club. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We are very proud to work with our local schools and their brilliant pupils.<\/strong><\/p>\n

March 22nd<\/sup>\u2014Period Poverty Party.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another successful evening for our second Period Poverty Party where 132 sanitary packs and 96 items of toiletries were donated by the 25 ladies who attended.\u00a0 It was a very useful event to explain how our club and organisation work and brought awareness to the women and girls in our region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2nd<\/sup> April\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today Sanitary products and toiletries were delivered to Homestart offices In Kidderminster from our Period poverty party along with \u00a372-50 from the raffle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These products will be distributed amongst women and girls in our local area who are in desperate need. We have a great relationship with Homestart volunteers who selflessly give up their time to help and support many families.<\/strong><\/p>\n

April 24th<\/sup>\u2014Bridge event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hard at work in the kitchen at our Annual Bridge Event where our club members supply lunch for 80 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a really successful day we were very happy to announce a profit of over \u00a3850 raised for Marie Curie Cancer Charity. Brilliant work ladies.<\/strong><\/p>\n
