Lots of lovely people have reached out to us to find out more about our new venture, so, we’ve answered the 10 questions we get asked most about our proposed e-club…<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 1. Who are the Soroptimists?<\/div>\n
We’re a global organisation of women that fights for the rights and equality of women and girls around the world.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 2. What is an e-club?<\/div>\n
It’s just like any other Soroptimist club, except we mainly meet virtually rather than in person. With our e-club, we want to enable busy, younger women with family and career commitments to still experience Soroptimism.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 3. Will we still meet in person?<\/div>\n
Of course! We’ll do social events and programme action in person, as, when and where appropriate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 4. How much time do I need to dedicate to it?<\/div>\n
As much or as little as you like, there’s no pressure to give more than you can.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 5. How much will it cost to become a member?<\/div>\n
Subscription fees are \u00a38 per month or \u00a396 annually. (Subscribe monthly or annually.)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 6. Do I have to take up an Office or role?<\/div>\n
Not if you don’t want to, but you can put yourself forward if you wish.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 7. What will I do as a Soroptimist?<\/div>\n
Raise awareness, raise funds and help us build a sisterhood. You can do anything from signing a petition to running a marathon, and everything in between. The choice is yours!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 8. Can I join an e-club if I’m already a member of another Soroptimist club?<\/div>\n
Unfortunately, you can only be a member of one club at a time. So, if you want to join an e-club, you will need to resign from your current club and switch your membership. But that doesn’t mean you can’t come along as a visitor!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 9. Am I allowed to join?<\/div>\n
If you’re a woman or identify as a woman, we’d love to have you!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udd39\"<\/span> 10. What if I don’t know anything about Soroptimism?<\/div>\n
Don’t worry, it’s not complicated, and no one does when they first join anyway! Just come along and the rest will follow.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
