{"id":1150,"date":"2013-05-05T17:15:47","date_gmt":"2013-05-05T16:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/?p=1150"},"modified":"2020-07-31T13:53:07","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T12:53:07","slug":"happy-30th-staffordshire-moorlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/2013\/05\/05\/happy-30th-staffordshire-moorlands\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy 30th Staffordshire Moorlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_1151\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1151\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"\/lichfield\/files\/2013\/05\/President-Ann.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1151\" src=\"\/lichfield\/files\/2013\/05\/President-Ann-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1151\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Left to Right, Dr Eileen London, President Wendy Lord and Regional President Dishi Attwood<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lichfield Members attended the 30th Charter for SI Staffordshire Moorlands, held on Saturday 4th May at Rudyard Lake Hotel.\u00a0 Their first charter was on the 6th May 1983 and four of the founder members,\u00a0who still play an active part in the club, joined in the celebrations.\u00a0 Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal\u00a0after which Dr Eileen London, a Soroptimist for over 40 years\u00a0proposed a toast to the organisation.\u00a0 Dr London introduced\u00a0Staffordshire Moorlands\u00a0current\u00a0President, Wendy Lord, to Soroptiimism some years ago. \u00a0Regional President Dishi Attwood gave a short address to the guests\u00a0after which\u00a0 the founder members, together with President Wendy,\u00a0cut a celebration cake baked by President Wendy.\u00a0\u00a0 Guests were then invited to enjoy a walk by the lake before returning for afternoon tea and a slice of\u00a0 cake.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1161\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1161\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/lichfield\/files\/2013\/05\/Lichfield-Group1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1161\" src=\"\/lichfield\/files\/2013\/05\/Lichfield-Group1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1161\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Members from SI Lichfield &amp; District<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u00a0In addition to Dishi others members from SI Lichfield &amp; District were, Top Row left to right.
