Well Soroptimist Lichfield and District certainly did. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2183.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6082 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2183-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Two women dressed in evening wear hold up a chain of office\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2183-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2183.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Everybody was on their feet with a fun starter of &#8220;Heads &amp; Tails&#8221; encouraged by a bottle of wine for the last one standing. The smiles, laughter and chat continued on, with what was a very generous room in supporting the raffle; though there was a great range of prizes to be won &#8211; all donated by great local businesses Thank you !!<\/p>\n<p>The Venue Moor Hall served up a lovely 3 course meal, followed by an entertaining set from Lichfield Ukulele Massive, who were kind enough to donate their time and energies to the evening. The party continuing with a lively disco, the floor kept full thanks to Jay&#8217;s Disco&#8217;s. Whilst across the whole event the lovely Pictoria Victoria captured the evening with her fabulous and imaginative photography.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2184.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6083 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2184-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"A group of women dressed in evening dress, smiling and laughing.\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2184-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/lichfield\/files\/2023\/05\/Amended-IMG_2184.jpg 683w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Yes, we certainly had a Ball, and now monies have been collated, counted and payments made thanks to everyone&#8217;s generosity, we can declare a grand total of \u00a35,200 was raised, being split between\u00a0two important charities for women&#8217;s health &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/breastcancernow.org\">Breast Cancer Now<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/eveappeal.org.uk\">The Eve Appeal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We just love it when a plan comes together.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Click on the images to enlarge them<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As the saying goes&#8230;We had a Ball!
