The money was raised during Dorothy&#8217;s presidential year through coffee mornings, collection in Tesco&#8217;s and donations. Pictured is IPP Dorothy, right, handing over the money at a club meeting in September. The support group help families with children diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia to receive early intervention to minimise the effects, to fund research and to help adults who often face prejudice and misunderstaning in the workplace.
