On Sunday, 5th March 2023, the Llandudno and District Soroptimists held their 60th Charter Lunch at the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno. They were delighted to be joined by other Soroptimist clubs including SI Bangor, SI Chester, SI South Caernarfonshire, SI Northwich and District, SI Pendleside, SI Ellesmere Port and District, SI Anglesey, SI Rhyl and District and SI Bebington. In addition, they were joined by several guests, including Mayor of Llandudno Carol Marubbi, Mayoress of Llandudno Linda Bailey, Llandundo Rotarians and friends of the club.<\/p>\n

It was a pleasure to welcome Wil Aaron and his wife, Carys. Wil spoke of Martha Hughes Cannon, a former Utah State Senator who had been born in Llandudno in July 1857.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed a lovely lunch and it was nice to see so many people in attendance.<\/p>\n
