{"id":932,"date":"2014-11-19T17:51:39","date_gmt":"2014-11-19T16:51:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/llandudno-and-district\/?p=932"},"modified":"2015-04-26T21:16:28","modified_gmt":"2015-04-26T20:16:28","slug":"maternal-health-in-lesotho","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/llandudno-and-district\/2014\/11\/19\/maternal-health-in-lesotho\/","title":{"rendered":"Maternal Health in Lesotho"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mary Longworth, a member of Soroptimist International Llandudno and District was one of a team from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board who visited Quithing in Lesotho, Africa earlier this month. The Health Board have a link with Quithing and the team are undertaking a project in improving maternal health by training and updating the obstetric knowledge of the nurses. SI Llandudno sponsored Mary with a donation of \u00a31000, half of which was raised by a coffee morning at the home of member Sheila Griffiths.
