Her interests include Neurodiversity, Social Justice, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. It is always inspiring to hear from someone who is a specialist in their field.
Ashleigh Risely, Resettlement Coordinator, Refugee Council Hertfordshire’s Women’s Empowerment Project. It will be enlightening to be informed on this topic by an expert.
President Kate Belinis DL (pictured here) will chair the event and as usual she has lined up “impactful women” speakers, on point for Human Rights Day. Kate will lead us to mark and reflect on the 76th Anniversary of the signing of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Readings and candle lighting always makes this event particularly poignant and brings into focus the status of human rights locally, nationally and globally.
This is also a great opportunity for members to interact with one another and hear about inspiring Soroptimist projects and initiatives.
There is no charge for joining this meeting, although you will be invited to make a donation to the SIGBI Diamond Education Grant when you book https://sigbi.org/what-we-do/our-charities/deg/ Please be assured that there is no pressure to do so.
Don’t miss out – this event is a favourite for Members across the Region so book now!
