{"id":1734,"date":"2018-07-19T21:36:09","date_gmt":"2018-07-19T20:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/london-chilterns\/?p=1734"},"modified":"2018-07-19T21:58:40","modified_gmt":"2018-07-19T20:58:40","slug":"hilary-page","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/london-chilterns\/2018\/07\/19\/hilary-page\/","title":{"rendered":"Hilary Page OBE Receives NAWO Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two longstanding Soroptimists were honoured by the National Alliance of Women\u2019s Organisations <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"\/london-chilterns\/files\/2018\/07\/57-NAWO-winners-web-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/>(NAWO) at a gathering in Europe House, London. Zarin Hainsworth OBE, Chair of NAWO, introduced the Elder Awards, which were set up to celebrate the work of feminists who are over 80, are still heavily involved in the women\u2019s movement, and who by their work have inspired others.<\/p>\n<p>Hilary Page, a long-time Member of SI Lewisham in London Chilterns Region and Past-President of her Club and her Region (now a member of SI Epsom), was nominated for her many years of service to Soroptimist International at every level including SI Great Britain and Ireland Federation President and Soroptimist International President.
