A fantastic lunch, including a glass of \u201cProhibition Punch\u201d (a nod to the 1920s USA) was enjoyed by all, as was a variety of entertainment and speakers. Regional Secretary Rita and Federation Councillor Pauline spoke about two fantastic programmes supported by SIGL \u2013 the aptly named RITA (Reminiscence Interactive Therapy and Activities) programme which helps to battle dementia; and the Yarl\u2019s Wood Befrienders respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Long services awards were also presented to our longest serving members as we enjoyed a gorgeously decorated cake, complete with our insignia and 95th logo.
