Our club was chartered in 1926 and since then members have been working at local, national and international level to improve the lives of women and girls. We have fun and make friends too.<\/li>\n<li>Our members have a wide range of backgrounds and experience, and include an honorary alderman, chartered accountant, finance officer, psychiatrist, university lecturer, public relations manager, consultant gynaecologist, sales manager and chartered surveyor, as well as several who are retired. They come from most areas of Greater Manchester and East Cheshire \u2013 including Altrincham, Cheadle Hulme, Didsbury, Horwich, Sale, Salford, Stretford, Worsley and Wilmslow.<\/li>\n<li>We have Friendship Links with 12 clubs from all over the world &#8211; S I Alsancak, S I Essen Victoria, S I Fort de France Alizes Sud, S I Grosse Pointe, S I Gdansk, S I Kampala, S I Kathmandu,\u00a0 S I Johannesburg, S I Madurai, S I St Petersburg, S I South West Slopes and S I Wichita.<\/li>\n<li>We have no political affiliation and welcome members of all ages, ethnicity, race, colour, ability, religion, socio-economic status, culture, sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/li>\n<li>We meet in the Priory Garden Suite, Sale Conservative Club, M33 2NG on the first Tuesday of each month (except December) to discuss business, plan events and listen to speakers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you would like to learn more, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:sigbi.manchester@gmail.com\">sigbi.manchester@gmail.com<\/a>.
