{"id":14,"date":"2012-07-05T19:26:16","date_gmt":"2012-07-05T18:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/mansfield\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2022-11-09T17:46:31","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T16:46:31","slug":"programme-action","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/mansfield\/programme-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Programme Action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><strong>PROGRAMME ACTION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Soroptimist is the ability to make a difference to the lives of women and girls at local, national and international level.\u00a0 Programme Action , is the main conduit through which, Soroptimist members, channel their efforts to improve the lives of Women and Girls, through Education, Enabling and Empowerment, acting as advocates, raising awareness of issues around their Health and Well-being and encouraging and supporting them globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Whilst fundraising is important, so is volunteering, and a willingness to commit in the areas of petitioning and lobbying.
