Gill and other S.I. members will be visiting, many villages in the country, in October this year, preceded by a packed shipping container.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1464\" src=\"\/mansfield\/files\/2017\/07\/Gill-Curry-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Gill Curry\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/mansfield\/files\/2017\/07\/Gill-Curry-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/mansfield\/files\/2017\/07\/Gill-Curry-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/mansfield\/files\/2017\/07\/Gill-Curry.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Previous containers have included everything from, gardening implements to, bedding, clothing, books, pots and pans, soap and feminine hygiene requirements, seed, rice, and even stackable school chairs!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">On leaving Mansfield this week, Gill&#8217;s car was packed with, 113 dresses, made by Mansfield members, bringing the total to, 492 dresses made in 18 months. Three large bags of baby wear, donated by &#8216;Team Tots&#8217; of Eastwood, 1 bag of assorted children&#8217;s clothes,1 bag of underwear, and a cheque for \u00a3100.00.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">As Gill say&#8217;s, nothing is refused, and they will &#8216;beg, steal or borrow&#8217;, to completely fill a container, which costs over \u00a33,000.00 to ship to Africa, all of which, has to be raised by donations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gill Curry SI Thames Valley member visited Mansfield to talk about the KORI Project.( See The Kori Women&#8217;s Development Project on Facebook for more details ).
