\"\"<\/a>Charity Performance of ‘Sitting Pretty’ by Amy Rosenthal at Medway Little Theatre is being held on Wednesday 8 May at 7.30pm.\u00a0 This performance is on behalf of Soroptimist International Medway.\u00a0\u00a0See<\/span>\u00a0flyer below for details of where to get tickets at a cost \u00a38 per person and there will also be a raffle with prizes.<\/span><\/p>\n

All proceeds from the evening will be shared between: –<\/p>\n

Meru Women’s Garden Project<\/a><\/p>\n

Supports some of the poorest women-led households in Kenya, and is entirely focussed on providing opportunities to women and girls who may never otherwise be given the chance to earn an income, and gives them status within their community. It fully embraces the three key areas at the heart of SIGBI\u2019s Programme Focus Goals \u2013 Educate, Empower and Enable. Improved food production and education will support women and girls to transform their lives and those of others through a process of cascade learning and mentoring thereby reducing poverty, improving health and increasing employment.<\/p>\n

WaterAid<\/a><\/p>\n

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are basic human rights.\u00a0 They should be a normal part of daily for everyone, everywhere – but they are not. WaterAid are committed to ensure long term solutions are found to ensure these human rights are met in countries such as Kenya.<\/p>\n
