We were lucky we had a lovely sunny morning.<\/p>\n<p>However, this walk would not have been possible at one time as in 2005 there was serious abuse and neglect of Bredhurst Woods. The site was covered with commercial fly-tipping, burnt out cars and public footpaths were impassable due to the illegal use of off-road vehicles. Wildlife in the area was in decline.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, as we could see for ourselves all this has now changed due to the Bredhurst Woodland Action Group (BWAG) set up by 6 residents.
