The occasion was a celebration of Medway being given the status of becoming a Toilet Twinned Town.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Mayor of Medway, Marian Nestorov, and the Deputy Mayoress were in attendance.\u00a0 They heard about Toilet Twinning and the various projects we have worked on in partnership to make a real difference.<a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2023\/09\/TT-Certificate-May-23.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6321 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2023\/09\/TT-Certificate-May-23.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"248\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2023\/09\/TT-Certificate-May-23.jpg 699w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2023\/09\/TT-Certificate-May-23-205x300.jpg 205w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 248px) 100vw, 248px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Year 5 pupil proudly presented the Deputy Mayor with the Toilet Twinned Town certificate for Medway. 1 in 4 people worldwide don\u2019t have a loo and by supporting Toilet Twinning we are helping to flush away poverty.
