President Alison then gave us an interesting insight to the work of the ABCD charity.\u00a0 She has been involved with the charity in Bethlehem working with children with disability for many years. It is hoped to raise monies during her presidential year to fund a Speech and Language therapist.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Alison-and-Jenny-at-AGM-2024.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6563 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Alison-and-Jenny-at-AGM-2024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"344\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Alison-and-Jenny-at-AGM-2024.jpg 960w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Alison-and-Jenny-at-AGM-2024-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 344px) 100vw, 344px\" \/><\/a>Jenny thanked President Alison for coming and presented her with flowers and a donation for ABCD.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Julia-with-25-yr-certificate-from-President-Alison.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6562 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Julia-with-25-yr-certificate-from-President-Alison.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"371\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Julia-with-25-yr-certificate-from-President-Alison.jpg 960w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/Julia-with-25-yr-certificate-from-President-Alison-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px\" \/><\/a>President Alison then made two presentations to club members. The first presentation was a 25-year long service certificate to Julia Search. Julia continues to be an active member of the club in her role as Friendship Link Officer. She also volunteers with Sharewear providing pre-loved clothes free to women and children.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/President-Alison-ppresenting-Molly-Oldham-Award-to-Teresa-Cambell.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6565 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/President-Alison-ppresenting-Molly-Oldham-Award-to-Teresa-Cambell.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"359\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/President-Alison-ppresenting-Molly-Oldham-Award-to-Teresa-Cambell.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/04\/President-Alison-ppresenting-Molly-Oldham-Award-to-Teresa-Cambell-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The second presentation was made to Teresa Cambell who was awarded the Molly Oldham Award.
