She called on members to celebrate World Porridge Day in a fun way. Members were asked to take a photo of their porridge breakfast during October.\u00a0 Then send to Annette and donate a pound for Mary\u2019s Meals.<a href=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/11\/Winner-from-Carol-Infanti.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6788 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/11\/Winner-from-Carol-Infanti.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"197\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/11\/Winner-from-Carol-Infanti.jpg 660w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/medway-maidstone\/files\/2024\/11\/Winner-from-Carol-Infanti-193x300.jpg 193w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 197px) 100vw, 197px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fifteen members took part and the \u00a315 raised was match funded making it \u00a330. The member with the best photo was Carol Infanti\u2019s which was a birthday porridge with strawberries, mango and candle.<\/p>\n<p>Mary\u2019s Meals says it costs <strong>\u00a319.15 <\/strong>to feed\u00a0a child<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for a whole school year and with the match funding it \u00a0means two children can be fed.<\/p>\n<p>Mary\u2019s Meals provides one good meal every school day for hungry children living in 17 of the world\u2019s poorest countries.
