Flexible management of a Club

Following the adoption of a new Club Constitution at the General Meeting in NewcastleGateshead 2013, a the pilot of “Light Touch Clubs”, the following documents have been written to explain how Clubs may operate in a different way.

The term “Light Touch Club” is no longer used.  This was the working title for the project, but Clubs that operate in this way are no different to other Clubs, so Flexible Management is the term that is now being used.

We hope that the ability to be flexible in the way that the Club is run will take the pressure of Club Executive Officers and allow Clubs to focus on Programme activities.
